 JB Cricket will deliver another 10 week course looking at all aspects of the game for the modern player. A weekly combination of practical, technical and tactical work, looking at the importance of various other key skills such as strength and conditioning, theory and game play analysis. A new course for 2023 but will still welcome some of our friends of JB Cricket. 

Our academies are designed for groups of no more than fifteen 12-18 year olds, who want to move beyond the basic skills and rules of the game, to develop the holistic discipline of the cricketer.

The one and a half hour sessions will be broken down into two sections. The first hour will be practical in the sports hall, and will cover all  practical aspects of the game. The last half  hour is a theory and technical session taking place in the Cricket Pavilion.  A full programme specification is available on request.

The academy will take place in the SLC Sports Centre, and the Pavilion of BSECC, The Victory Ground, Nowton Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 2BT.

There is a viewing area in the sports hall, from which parents or caregivers can watch the first hour. However, only participants of the programme will be allowed into the Cricket Pavilion for the theory sessions. Thank you for your cooperation.
